First edition, first print.
Collins, 1975. Hardback.
Signed and dated by Solzhenitsyn. With small inscription that looks like " edition Collins." Which probably refers to the publishers? It is dated 28.2.76. Two days before he recorded what was to be one of his most important interviews with the BBC.
Very good hardback. Tight clean interior with very good dust jacket unclipped though some fading to spine jacket. Page block has some dust markings but overall very good no lean.
Sold as part of the three volume set- all first editions, first prints. Volumes 1 and 3 are both tight copies, very good. Dust jackets have minor tears but overall very good in protective covering. Spines have some fading. Volume 3 has faded so Solzhenitsyn’s name has disappeared but title of book is clear.
‘The Gulag Archipelago’ [Volume 2] by Alexander Solzhenitsyn
